The Community Integration Alternative Program (CIAP) at Eastco is self explanatory; we are focused on integrating our folks in the community.  We have 60 people that go through our department each week.  Fun Fit

We have two main types of activities, in the classroom and community.  Safety groups, music appreciation, ASL signing, and working on listening skills are examples of classroom activities, whereas aerobics, horse back riding, and bowling are examples of community activities. Each January we ask the folks what kind of activities they would like to do in the upcoming year.  Two of the most popular activities among CIAP attendees are camping and beach trips.  Given the rising price of gas, we will probably do more date nights where our folks select a friend and then go to dinner and a movie.  Community integration and improving the quality of life is our goal.
